CISA Adds 9.8 'Critical' Microsoft SharePoint Bug to its KEV Catalog​

Quick summary:

CISA has added a critical privilege escalation vulnerability (CVE-2023-29357) affecting Microsoft SharePoint servers to its list of Known Exploited Vulnerabilities. The flaw, with a severity score of 9.8, allows attackers to bypass authentication checks and gain administrative access. Despite a June patch, the vulnerability is actively exploited. Organizations should apply the patch to mitigate the risk.
